Carol holds a PhD from Teachers College Columbia University and has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral level since May 2001. She is a a New York State Certified Behavior Analyst, Special Education Teacher, General Education Teacher, and holds her SAS Credential as a School Administrator. 

Carol has worked with students with developmental deficits and disabilities for more than 20 years, primarily with students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Presently she works as an Adjunct Professor at City University of New York at Queens College. Carol provides Educational Consultation and Programming services to school districts in the Metropolitan New York City area in several capacities, including training staff in the implementation of the principles and strategies of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to educational programming, as well as conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments/Analyses and developing Behavior Treatment Plans. Carol works directly with parents of children with disabilities, providing staff training to home programmers, and individual home- and community-based Parent Counseling. 

Carol has presented at behavior analysis conferences in the United States and Europe, and has several publications. She speaks fluent Italian, and has traveled extensively in Europe.
